Martyr will do a show at Mario's Metal Meeting. Other bands are Picture (NL), Benedictum (USA), Gunslinger (UK) and Mother of Sin (NL)

After more then 1 year we will be back in our hometown Utrecht. This will be a headliner show. Support: Hymir.

Martyr will do a show at the Up The Hammers festival in Athens, Greece. Other confirmed bands are Jaguar (UK) and Ruthless (USA)

MARTYR did a great hot and wet show at the Roadgrill festival. The sun was burning, the beer was cool, the barbecue was awesome and our fans were served and cooled off by many water showers provided by our singer.

MARTYR did a show together with "New Wave of British Heavy Metal legend" JAGUAR.

It was a great party with our heavy metal maniacs friends.

MARTYR did a "late" show at a benefit festival for Haiti at Het Podium in Hoogeveen. We appreciate our fans who stayed till the last notes were played...LOL.

Martyr did a great show as support act for the Bert Heerink Group (former singer of Vandenberg) at Het Front in Vroomshoop. Always a pleasure to play at that nice venue.

It was a great party with our friends Sprattus from Argentina.

Martyr did 3 great shows together with US metal legends Vicious Rumors during the kickoff of their european tour. Unfortunately Martyr couldn't find the time to support them at their gigs in Germany, Czech and Austria. Pictures and video will be online soon.

Martyr did a great show at N201 in Aalsmeer along with our friends from Jackal.

Unfortunately Toine couldn't show up for this gig. For the first time in our history Martyr has performed a show without our bassplayer at Rockcafe From Dusk Till Dawn in Assen. Martyr don't like to cancel. So we pumped up the volume, turned the basslevel to 10 of our guitar amps and entertained the audience. And it was great. Thanks to all our fans!

Martyr has played at the Musketeers of Metal Fest at Dynamo in Eindhoven (NL) on march 22. It has been about more than 20 years ago since we last played there during our Darkness At Time's Edge tour (1986) in the Benelux. This time we played at the ´Musketeers Of Metal Fest´ along with other great bands like Double Diamond (Belgium) and Conquest Of Steel (UK).

Martyr has played with Hooded Priest on Patchman's party at Little Devil in Tilburg (NL) on march 14. Thanx for all the people attendig Martyr's show at the ´Little Devil - Tilburg´. You all made the party complete not only for us and ofcourse, celebrating his 30th birthday, for Mr. Patchman.

Martyr has played with US speed metal band: Imperious Rex at " PreNew Years Eve Party" The Frontline - Gent - Belgium. The stage was a little small but the show was filled with energy! We did't see much of the other bands unfortunately. A lot of Belgian beer ofcourse was due to that fact! After the show we did some more Jupiler, Palm, Cristal, Westmalle and so on...so you can imagine we really had a good time out there in Belgium. Martyr live at Moonrock radio After a long drive Rop , Marcel and Rick arrived at the studio in Emmer Compascuum (where the hell is that??) for the 2 hour MARTYR special and interview with Moonrock Radio. We had a lot of fun with doin' the interview and were amazed about the knowledge of Alcidos about MARTYR (he fucking new every detail about the band!!) We would like to thank all at Moonrock and especially Alcidos for the hospitality!!

Martyr has played with The New Adventures at De Peppel in Zeist (NL). Unfortunately Highway Chile had to cancel this show. We want to thank ALL OFF YOU who were at De Peppel last night. It was such a thrill to be back on stage again and to see a lot of old and new friends !! Unfortunately we did not have a lot of space on stage otherwise Rop would even be more crazy , but again he knew how to "win" the crowd. The sound on stage was great , and songs like "LIES", which we haven't played in 20 years or even more went down really good! Unfortunatley we could only play for 45 minutes but it was a blast with classics like "Snow and Fire", "Speed Of Samurai", "Unknown Forces", "Into The Abyss" etc...
